sunday

saturday night we went to Amie and Mark's house for a little getp-together. We had a good time and some good food! sunday has been a dreary and rainy day.
Wes worked at the store by himself, I don't like him to be there by himself and have a good mind to chew out derrick and brian about it.
we ran around with erica for a while and piked up a frozen pizza for dinner...
Now we're relaxing at home!

a case of the "fridays"

well today was another inconsequential day. I hung some of the drawings in the gallery for the upcoming McNeese student show.
Still no water at the museum.
Marcus Sawyer moved into the downstairs rear apartment at Bluestein House. He's really happy with the apartment and we're happy he's downstairs!
Wesley and I brought Max and his girlfriend Megan to Cheddar's in Beaumont for dinner. Erica was out ghosthunting. We were going to join her but I didn't feel that well toady and I am glad I didn't spend a lot of time out in the cold.
Here in Humidityville we were hoping for some snow from this "arctic blast" but so far mid 30's is as cold as it has gotten.
Here's to snowy dreams!

thursday post

Wes and I went Archie's to eat on Prien Lake Road and were very dissappointed that they did not have gyros yet! It's the cornerstone of mediterranean cuisine and Wes was disappointed they did not have the roast beef sandwiches they used to offer at all times. Abdul should have considered that before he opened the new place that people really expect to order what they usually expect is on the menu.

Also I've found a fabric to recover my victorian sofa that I recieved for free! AND the fabric cost me less than $50!!! I'm sucha bargain hunter!

I also want to recommend the www.eldiablotuntun.blogspot.com site for some great music downloads to listen to. Expand your music horizons people and understand music in a deeper sense of time and place!

no news lately

Just thought I would drop a note to say nothing has been going on much here.
Randy came friday and gave us a crane for the
edison standard phonograph horn at the museum and it looks swell!
I'll post a pic of it as soon as I get one done!
The plumbing at the museum is still down and
it should be repaired sometime this week.
We haven't gotten any new toys this week and haven't gone anywhere but
to eat dinner with Erica. Im actually starting to feel
a little under the weather...hopefully
I'll avoid being ill.
